Hi, I’m Erin.
I’ve been helping people have tough conversations
for almost 20 years.
I have spent almost 20 years as a facilitator, trainer, and actor, including extensive work helping medical professionals communicate more compassionately.
I have been a practitioner of Playback Theatre - the signature art form that we use at Compassionate Coaching - on some illustrious stages in DC, such as:
The Kennedy Center
Woolly Mammoth Theatre
Arena Stage
The National Archives Museum
This varied and creative background - as well as my own lived experience - helps me infuse my work with empathy.
My older sister, Gina, had severe cerebral palsy. I knew, in my bones, that I would outlive her. Gina died at the age of 45, exactly two weeks after I turned 40.
That’s forty years of anticipatory grief.
The modalities that I use in my work, like Playback Theatre, have helped me process my own grief and gain clarity on tough situations.
I’ve been a Playback Theatre Practitioner since 2010, and I have seen its powerful impact on thousands of other people, too.
I can’t wait to share our creative and compassionate approach with you!
